The Hague, The Netherlands - Kate brings over 20 years of experience in tech scale-up, private equity and corporate strategy. Most recently, Kate fulfilled senior roles at fintech scale-up Jumo World, which provides microloans to the unbanked in emerging markets. Other roles include senior positions at Woolworths Holdings Ltd (South African retailer), Duke Street (the London-based private equity firm), Goldman Sachs (M&A, London) and UBS (M&A, South Africa). Kate holds a Bachelor's of Business Science (Hons) from University of Cape Town.
Kate is passionate about entrepreneurship and growing companies, especially while also building a more sustainable future for the next generation and making a positive contribution to society.
Commenting on her appointment, Kate said: “Now is a particularly interesting time for tech start-ups and scale-ups with an impact agenda in Western Europe. There is a lot of activity in the space, which is generating a wide range of compelling investment opportunities. 4impact has built a great portfolio of investments and I am very excited to be joining a team with such high integrity and professionalism.”
