Manuel Heckmann joins 4impact capital as Entrepreneur in Residence

We're excited to welcome Manuel Heckmann to the team as Entrepreneur in Residence!

Manuel co-founded EcoG, the IoT operating system for EV charging infrastructure, and before that co-founded POLYAS, the BSI-certified online voting platform. On the investor side, he was Associate Partner at Greencode Ventures, a European climate tech fund, where he sat on the boards of FLEXeCHARGE and eXo Fleets Earlier in his career he worked at Siemens Venture Capital and Next47.

We've known Manuel for some time. He hosted a go-to-market workshop for our portfolio at our most recent founder offsite in the Belgian Ardennes, and has stayed close to several of our companies since, sparring with them and supporting their growth. Bringing him formally into the team was an easy decision.

As Entrepreneur in Residence, Manuel will work closely with our founders on go-to-market and business development, and support the team in finding and assessing new opportunities. His career sits in the unglamorous infrastructure that makes the transition actually work, precisely where we're deploying Fund II.

We're excited to have Manuel on board and look forward to the insights, expertise, and energy he will bring to our portfolio and the broader 4impact community.
