Vacancy: Investment Intern

Our venture capital fund backs digital tech4good ventures — startups using software technology to create measurable, sustainable positive impact for people and the planet, while also delivering strong financial returns. We partner with exceptional founders across Europe who dream and act big, with global ambitions. Founded in 2019 by Pauline Wink (Goldman Sachs, HayFin) and Ali Najafbagy (Goldman Sachs, Mubadala, GE, Egon Zehnder), we are a passionate and experienced team based in The Hague, working closely with our venture partners, Advisory Board, and leading industry experts.

We’re looking for a proactive and motivated intern who is not only interested in startups and investing, but who is also excited about software, digital products, and technology as drivers of change. This is a unique opportunity to dive into the world of venture capital, impact investing, and software-driven innovation. You’ll work hands-on with our investment team to identify, evaluate, and support startups that use technology — from AI to blockchain — to solve pressing environmental and social challenges:

• ~6 months full-time internship, starting in Q1 2026
• We gather in the office in the Hague twice a week, and would love you to join us here in person
• We do business in English, speaking any of the languages in our geographical scope is a plus

Your work will cover a wide variety of activities, including and not limited to:

• Sourcing leading tech4good startups
• Researching impact, industry & tech topics
• Investment analysis & modelling
• Due diligence & writing investment memos
• Building and executing the 4impact brand and marketing strategies
• Event management
• Working with portfolio companies to execute on growth strategies

If you are:

• Passionate about making a environmental sustainability and social impact, with an interest in investing and technology startups
• Independent and a self-starter, capable of taking on projects with limited supervision
• Energised by a collaborative, diverse start-up culture with an eagerness to get stuck in
• Currently studying at an EU-registered university, last year Master’s with a preference for relevant degrees (e.g. computer science, AI, engineering, business, finance)
• Fluent in English
