Your Role and Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
Drive financial planning and reporting across the fund and management company.
Work with the Partners to translate the long term strategy into long-term financial models.
Advise the Partners on fund performance, risk management and financial modeling.
Finance & Accounting
Work together with our accounting/admin partner on the financial accounts.
Support with monthly and annual closings and maintain clean accounting records.
Process invoices,
Treasury and bank account oversight
Oversee audit processes
Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Fund Operations
Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting and cash flow management
Coordinate capital calls and distributions and track fund flows
Maintain relationships with fund administrators, accountants, tax advisors, and auditors.
Reporting
Prepare LP reports and ensure timely delivery to our investors (Fundrbird, investor portals).
Assist with impact reporting requirements (annual report, SFDR, impact board).
Preparing and filing reports to regulators (DNB, AFM) and tax authorities.
Investor relations and fundraising
Be point of call for investor finance and investment questions
Facilitate fundraising efforts
Provide support on fund structuring, documentation, and compliance matters
Portfolio Management – Financial Perspective
Support data gathering and financial input from portfolio companies
Work with portfolio company founders pre- and post-investment.
Support our portfolio companies in building stronger financial processes.
Gather insights and benchmark data to support portfolio companies in positioning and growth.
Team and Process Development
Improve financial processes, controls, and systems to support firm scalability.
Help prepare internal dashboards to gather financial insights
HR related payroll and documentation matters
Mentor junior team members on finance topics
Contribute to a culture of accountability and excellence.
What We’re Looking For
Independent, pro-active, hands-on approach to work
Detail oriented, analytical with strong organisational and communication skills.
Tech savvy with a strong interest to automate and optimise processes
Comfortable to manage routine tasks, project-driven work and one-off tasks simultaneously
4+ years in fund operations, finance, or accounting (VC/PE, Big4, fund administrator, family office).
Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics.
Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
The following a plus:
Understanding of fund structures, GP/LP mechanics, and financial reporting standards.
Familiarity with VC regulation and best practices in ESG and impact reporting.
Track record of improving financial processes and infrastructure in growing organizations.

Role details
Location: The Hague; able to work in (or relocate) to the Netherlands easily.
Commitment: 4-5 days per week; 2+ days per week in the office.
